Install the Abstractus Connector

Add the browser extension from the Chrome Web Store, and pin its button so it is always in view.

What it is

The Abstractus Connector is a browser extension. It saves a paper's reference and PDF to your Abstractus Desktop library, and it gets papers for the desktop app. It needs Abstractus Desktop.

Install it

Open Abstractus Desktop, then open Library and select Browser connections.
Select Get the extension. The Chrome Web Store opens.
Add it to your browser and confirm.

It works in Chrome and Edge. Edge uses the same Chrome Web Store listing.

Pin the button

Click the puzzle piece in your browser's toolbar.
Find Abstractus Connector and select the pin beside it.

Select the pin. The button then stays in your toolbar.

The white tile with the orange A is the Abstractus button.

Next, connect the extension to the desktop app.
